Watch New Shadow of the Tomb Raider PS4 Gameplay

The Japanese arm of Square Enix presented a nice chunk of gameplay of the upcoming action-adventure game Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Since the gameplay was streamed from Japan, we actually get to see the Japanese version in action.

The livestream was actually presented by Square Enix President and CEO Yosuke Matsuda, who appears to be a big fan of western games. Yet, isn’t the one the one playing at the beginning. At the controls, you can see Dempagumi.inc idol group member Mirin Furukawa.

We get to see some platforming and exploration, traps, underwater swimming, puzzles, and more.

During the second part of the gameplay (the third video below), Matsuda-san took control of the game himself as things got more violent. Lara was tasked with infiltrating a Trinity outpost, and Matsuda-san almost immediately showcased his preference for shooters as he abandoned stealth to shoot people in the face.

Suffice to say, it didn’t go too well.

Xbox Looks pretty dope. Thought it was funny when those rats ran out on her or whatever it was. I'll most likely cop just because I've always like the tomb raider games.

Trailers where all pretty sik, not gonna lie. Will be coping hold of this as soon as i get a chance.

I've played the last two Tomb Raider games and don't get me wrong they are fun, but they get super repetitive. Probably won't purchase this on release and just wait for it to be on sale. In my opinion, it's not worth the $60.

Used to love playing tomb raider quite a few years ago, and this revamped series has been hella good so far so will defo be checking this out
