Forza Horizon 4 Gets Lots of Gameplay Showing Autumn, Online and Solo

Microsoft and Playground Games showcased a ton of gameplay of their upcoming open-world racing game Forza Horizon 4.

This time around the focus is on autumn (following up from summer last week), showing some nice weather effect which include rain and puddles.

Perhaps one of the most interesting elements of the whole video is the seamless toggle between the online Horizon Life mode, with which you’re put in a shared world with other players across the internet, and the Horizon Solo mode, that can be played on your own offline.

You can see the transition at 22:44 mark, and it’s really, really cool. When you’re online, you can pull over at any point (or stop in the middle of the road, I guess), select Horizon Solo in the menu, and seamlessly transition back to your own personal game, with no loading screens or cutscenes. Other cars will be replaced by drivatars and you’re good to go.
