Pokemon Quest has been downloaded 7.5 million times

We really shouldn’t be surprised when anything combining “Pokemon” and “free-to-play” isn’t massively successful at this point, but Pokemon Quest is still quite impressive. Nintendo and Game Freak recently confirmed that game has a collective 7.5 million downloads across Switch and smartphone platforms.

There’s even a Japanese TV commercial out now to celebrate the occasion (thanks Siliconera:

Nintendo first released the game for Switch on May 30, while the Android and iOS versions followed on June 27. The Switch version managed to hit the million benchmark in two days, while the Mobile edition raised $3 million in a week.

Glad to see Pokmon is still huge and possibly even bigger than it was when I was a kid. I love the original hand held game series and love to see them still go great

Jeez these pokemon games are blowing up a lot recently I though Pokemon Go died and now its as popular as it was a few years back and now this would try it out but cont understand chinese not sure if theres an english version or not..
