PUBG Documentary Shows "The Making of Sanhok"

3.9
The third, and luscious, new map has been live for a few days now on the PC version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, but the dev team still has so much to share! The newest 4Km x 4Km map went through a lot of changes based on player feedback, plus quite a few hidden surprises, and now Bluehole is sharing that journey with fans.

"From the beginning, it was our goal to let you in on Sanhok’s development—you even helped us build it. Now that the map is out, we want to give you an even deeper look behind the scenes at PUBG and into the creation of Sanhok from concept to release," boasts their latest blog post on Steam, with the video for the documentary above.

The video details many of the changes the new area went through since its early alpha stage, while also sharing the various inspirations behind the tropical not-so paradise. It's always a stunning experience to see the devs do their thing behind the scenes and with how immersive the latest map is, to see that built from the ground up is incredible.
