Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC

Rockstar has been quiet on whether Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PC or not. Luckily for us, a developer has accidentally let it slip on LinkedIn.

The developer, who we will keep nameless, previously worked on GTA V and L.A. Noire as a programmer. We’ve looked into them to verify this.

Their LinkedIn profile also lists Red Dead Redemption 2, and the platforms they worked on: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s a screen:



Rockstar previously released GTA V towards the end of a console generation without any word on a PC version. The PC version only came when the new consoles launched and the company released an upgraded edition.

This tactic really worked for Rockstar and the company sold far more copies of the game as a result. We wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same tactic being used here.

Great news for pc players, but I will still only be buying on Xbox.

I love how rockstar is expanding it's horizons and going over to PC now. So much more money for them with this.

Sounds pretty likely to me, why would he lie like that? Plus why wouldn't R* want the sales of PC, a lot of people dont use consoles.

PC Gaming is growing more and more each day, all my friends all leaving consoles behind and investing in decents PCs so I can see why they are doing this!

Mario350 its not coming to pc it was most likely a typo/copy and paste it was shortly taken down surely a mistake, and if it is coming to pc i dont see no pre order on rss page or steam hell i dont even see it on steam like i do on xbox and ps4, maybe a year or so after like gta5 did on pc plus the original isnt on pc at all this is an opinion, but the gta5 and original rdr is fact


I doubt that they would just leave the pc market. The game has so much selling potential if on pc. Plus im thinking they will put some effort into creating a port once the consoles get their releases.

I mean...why would Rockstar miss out on the PC market? They are just going to do what they did with GTAV and release it much later once they cashed out on the console market.
