Trials Rising Gets New Details and Some Action-Packed Gameplay Footage

4.3
After its reveal during E3 2018 last week, Trials Rising got a bit more information on what to expect from the latest entry in the motorcycle physics game, with new footage and a developer interview from PlayStation’s live show at E3 being released on the upcoming game.

One of the first things noted on during the interview was the return of the popular Track Editor, also found in previous games such as Trials Evolution and Trials Fusion. There has been a huge upgrade to this part of the game, which includes over 8,000 building pieces to use in creating your own tracks. Many of the pieces that will be included in the Trials Rising Track Editor were once assets for previous Trials games.

It seems important for RedLynx to reach out to their community for help when it comes to polish and development on their games, even to the point where they hired some designers who were simply creating and sharing their popular tracks to other community members in previous games in the series. I personally remember the community creations found in Trials Evolution for the Xbox 360, and I went back every week to see the new highest-rated tracks rated by the community. It is exciting to hear that some of my favorite maps I once played were possibly created by other players who now work with the Ubisoft RedLynx team.

Multiplayer also seems to be an important element for Trials Rising. Along with the normal bone-breaking races, there are goofy party games, like the 2-player tandem-bike for co-op pleasures. In this mode, players will need to work the bike together through balance. There is also a beta for Trials Rising, but you will need to register on the game’s official website for a chance to play it later this year.

Trials Rising is coming on February 19th, 2019, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can check out the gameplay trailer below which also includes developer commentary on the new multiplayer modes and Track Editor. There is also an Announcement Trailer available that was released during E3.

I have never played the game but watching the gameplay I am really debating to purchase this, I like the idea of not giving users too much when they first start and unlocking the more real life venues as you progress. It is good that they're listening to fans also and going back to their old roots.
