Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Demo Details More About Specialists

4.1
PlayStation Live from E3 2018 saw a demo of Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and joining the presentation was David Vonderhaar from Treyarch to explain some of the features players will get to experience when the game launches.

We’re shown some multiplayer in-game footage to start, and with Vonderhaar explaining that the developers have taken the Specialists that they started in Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and rebuilt or reimagined them with Specialists being a main focus of the game. It’s now more tactical with matches now being 5v5 rather than 6v6.

Vonderhaar explains that many features are still going to be intact, such as wild cards and attachments, but the Specialists bring a different playing style which can slow the pace of the match. Matches will also only allow one Specialist type per team and healing is its own mechanic now. A medic class will allow players to heal others in the match with players now being in control of when they heal rather than the auto-regeneration we’re used too in previous titles. Rather than having 100% health, players will also have 150% health as standard.

Fog of war has been added and a lot more are coming to Call of Duty Black Ops 4. The Pick 10 system is returning and will offer “super chunky choices” —as Vonderhaar chose to describe them as— through a new category called Gear which will allow high powered gear such as armor, stem packs, and more to be equipped. You’ll also be able to assign attachments that are unique to each weapon rather than having attachments that are universal to every weapon in the game.

Blackout and the new Zombies are also mentioned but not much has been revealed about it due to Treyarch wanting to reveal details at a later date. We do know some facts about the Battle Royale mode Blackout, and facts about Zombies. You can watch the whole video below and see how the game looks as well as hearing what Vonderhaar has to say.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be arriving on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on October 12th.

DeadLizard I've been seriously disappointed in every CoD that's been released since MW3. I'm kind of hopeful for this one though, the healing factor seems the most interesting, and excited to see how blackout is going to be. Don't let us down treyarch....plz
I love the fact that they want to "slow" down the gameplay. Honestly biggest part of CoDs downfall for me is how fast paste it has become.
Bruuuh it's pace not paste lmfao

Not the biggest fan of this game just based on how it sounds. Cod just isn't the same.
