4.2
At EA's E3 2018 presentation on June 9, we got our first glimpse at Battlefield 5. The demo started off with an intro to the returning War Stories mode, as well as revealing the brand new Royale mode, which is going to feature vehicles, which will be arriving after the launch of the main game.

FIFA 19 will be released Sept. 28, with the European Champions League featured throughout the game, publisher Electronic Arts announced today during EA Play 2018.

EA Sports picked up the license to the UEFA Champions League following the end of a 10-year deal between European sports body UEFA and Konami, for its Pro Evolution Soccer series. The Champions League is an annual contest featuring the best clubs in Europe. EA’s soccer simulation has long trumped PES for official licenses, though the absence of the elite Champions League had left a significant gap.

Respawn Entertainment teased its Star Wars game today during EA Play 2018 at E3.

Respawn boss Vince Zampella announced the name of the studio’s Star Wars title. It’s called Jedi: Fallen Order.

According to Zampella, the game takes place place during the “dark times” where the Jedi are being hunted. Timeline wise, it takes place between episodes Star Wars episode 3 and episode 4.

The game is slated for release during holiday 2019.

Back in 2016, Coldwood Interactive charmed many with the extreme cuteness of Unravel‘sprotagonist Yarny. In the same year, Electronic Arts confirmed that it had signed a partnership with the studio for another game, ultimately mentioning that it was a sequel for the adorable platformer.

Today, during the EA Play press conference, EA and Coldwood made good on that promise and unveiled Unravel 2, which will come for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

The only certain things in this life are death, taxes, and a new Madden title every year. Having been released annually since 1990, the Madden franchise is often considered the gold standard for sports games. After having announced Madden NFL 19, the newest installment in the franchise, a few weeks ago, Electronic Arts showed off the first official trailer for the game at today’s EA Play press conference.

EA Originals’ Sea of Solitude will be launching in early 2019.

EA Originals picked up the title in 2016 as part of the publisher’s Originals label that aims to help small studios get their games out into the world.

Jo-Mei Games’ creative director, Cornella Geppert, talked more about the concept of the game, a story-driven adventure that focuses on loneliness and how that can affect us as humans.

The game will have players try to re-balance their emotions and embrace the negative onces, as well as the positive.

EA announced today the upcoming release of NBA Live 19, a game that lets you take control of your own player and rise through the ranks.

Revealing the new trailer for NBA Live, EA showed off the way that players will build their own stories when the new NBA game releases on September 7. If you played NBA Live 18, you’ll have a good idea of what to expect from the latest game in EA’s series. For those who haven’t, below is a taste of what’s coming later this year.

Battlefield V is surely among the most anticipated games of the fall thanks to it bringing the series back to the era of World War II and the promise of delivering truly immersive visuals from that time period, as new gameplay footage released gives a closer look at the game’s new multiplayer mode, Grand Operations.

NVIDIA has released a new video showing gameplay footage from the upcoming Battlefield V, with the footage specifically giving players a taste of the Grand Operations multiplayer mode coming to the game.

Grand Operations will entail a new type of multiplayer experience for Battlefield fans, which will drop players into “a powerful narrative experience inspired by historical events.” The mode itself takes place over several in-game “days,” which rotates a variety of maps and mission types together that are tied by its narrative experience, with each victory or defeat having an impact on its ultimate outcome.

Battlefield V will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19th, 2018 – for a closer look at Grand Operations, you can check out the new gameplay footage below from NVIDIA.

As expected, Electronic Arts unveiled some new gameplay from BioWare’s forthcoming Anthem to show off its depth and spectacle. And it didn’t disappoint.

The gameplay clip lasted a few minutes and covered your soldier entering battle. They start by stepping into a battle suit (not like Titanfall) and then venturing forward on a track, only to take to the sky. It looks like your character is able to switch between flight and being on foot (walking and running) over the course of the game, which will help you get around the world with relative ease.

It also featured different perspectives, showcasing the ability to work with others in co-op in real time. It looks like it works pretty seamlessly.
