E3 2018: Battlefield V Battle Royale Confirmed

4.4
At EA's E3 2018 presentation on June 9, we got our first glimpse at Battlefield 5. The demo started off with an intro to the returning War Stories mode, as well as revealing the brand new Royale mode, which is going to feature vehicles, which will be arriving after the launch of the main game.

After this, there was some in-engine footage of Battlefield 5. Grand Operations was briefly on show, as planes and vehicles took part in an all out war. War Stories was also briefly shown off, in a mission called Nordlys War Story, with more details coming later.

Battlefield 5 was first revealed by EA on May 23, during a livestream in London hosted by the Daily Show's Trevor Noah. A release date of October 19 was announced for the World War Two shooter, although if you're either an EA Play or Origin Access subscriber, you can get access to Battlefield 5 eight days earlier than the final release date, on October 11.

SR20DET Urgh, I will try it before giving a proper opinion but I kinda didn't want this.. It could work but was it really necessary.

Considering that the only real competition to PUBG is Fortnite, and those two games are very different, It will be good to have a more hardcore experience like PUBG with better stability and ironed out mechanics.

The way I'm seeing it is that PUBG will be replaced by BFV royal and Fortnite will be replaced (or atleast feel the impact) of CoD royal.
