Ark: Survival Evolved Arrives on Mobile Devices This Month

4.2
It seems that a lot of video games are making their way onto mobile devices these days, and Ark: Survival Evolved is just another one to add to the list. Developer Studio Wildcard announced that the title will launch onto mobile devices and tablets later this month as a free-to-play title.

Originally available on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PS4, the dinosaur-themed multiplayer title Ark: Survival Evolved will allow players to tame over eighty dinosaurs. The mobile version offers players a mobile-focused UI and a specialized controller set up. Primal Pass is also arriving, and it’s a new subscription service for the game that will provide players with an ad-free experience, reserved server slots, free gifts, and more.

A new material called Ancient Amber will allow players to acquire optional upgrades, certain buffs, build unique structures, or resurrect fallen dinosaur pets.

The mobile version of the game will include all of the above, as well as discovering blueprints, explorer notes, exploring a large world, crafting buildings, and harvesting food for survival. Procedurally generated RPG statistics for creatures, characters, resources, clothing, gear, and weapons are all in the title too.

Players can choose between playing alone on single-player, or join other players online. A tribe system encourages players to cooperate by supporting other dynamic parties by sharing resources, XP, and key respawn points.

Back in 2016 Ark: Survival Evolved hit over 5.5 million players across Xbox One and PC. It’s due to land onto the Nintendo Switch later this year after Co-Creative Director Jesse Rapczak stated that it would take a lot of work.

Check out the trailer below, the Ark: Survival Evolved mobile launch will see the game come to both iOS and Android mobile and tablet devices on June the 14th 2018.

ItzSaxbyyy Weird that all games now are getting Mobile ports, wonder if this trend will emerge in AAA titles too?

Phones are getting pretty advanced. Republic of Gamers is even setting out their own phone, and they are a pretty massive titan in terms of the gaming industry. Razer also put one out.

Don't see the price though. We'll see..
I've already got 900 hours on PC, soon to break 1K.

Don't think I'll be playing this, probably won't even download it.
