Xbox Live Gold members can play Destiny 2 for free this weekend.

Starting tomorrow, June 7, Xbox Live Gold Members can play Destiny 2 free through Sunday, June 10.

Also, for a limited time, players can purchase the core game for 67% off, or grab the Destiny 2 game + Expansion Pass Bundle for 35% off instead.

As usual, all progress from the free play weekend will transfer over to the full game if purchased.

Here are the start and end times:

Starts: Thursday, June 7: 9am PT, 12pm ET, 5pm BST
Ends: Sunday, June 10 at 11:59pm PT, June 11 at 2:59am ET, 7:50am BST

If you’ve never played the game before, the free play weekend will give you a nice head start before Destiny 2: Forsaken releases in September 4.

Sad that I missed it, as much as i think this game has died out, I would've loved to played it.

This is pretty cool for the gold members, I wont be going back on Destiny 2 anytime soon though.

ItzSaxbyyy Too little too late, that still makes the game and DLC overpriced for the content you get, i finished the core game in about 3 weeks and there weren't as much end game content

Agree with you, too late this is

If you haven't played this game yet, It is worth the free trial. You get almost exactly 8 hours of campaign depending on your pacing. That being said, the campaign is fun the first time through. It's really a compelling experience. I've done it 4 times and the last 3 times were like pulling gravel out of your knees.

Besides that, I can only recommend buying this game if you can get it with the Year 1 DLC for 60$ or so. You would be getting a more complete experience than just the base game.
