Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Multiplayer to be Shown in New Livestream

4.1
If you were intrigued by the initial multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and you’re looking for more then there’s some good news for you. Today, developer Treyarch and publisher Activision announced that they will be hosting a livestream in a few days, and it’s all centered around the upcoming first-person shooter’s multiplayer mode.

The livestream is set to start on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT) and will be hosted by both David Vonderhaar and Dan Bunting, Studio Design Director and Co-Studio Head of Treyarch respectively. Specifically, the livestream is set to show off all of the maps that will be playable at the Entertainment Electronic Expo (E3) 2018 next week.

As per normal, the livestream can be viewed on Call of Duty’s official Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch channels.

As mentioned previously, this is only meant to show off the game’s multiplayer mode, meaning it’s doubtful that we will see anything from the highly anticipated Blackout Mode, which is this entry’s take on the battle royale genre.

Call of Duty: WWII is set to launch on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Interested to see how MP plays, assuming they will actually show devs playing in pre recorded footage rather than an animated trailer with snippets of set up gameplay. Hoping they do at least give us a look at blackout as that is what will likely decide how BO4 will be received and if it will be successful or not
