Co-op Arcade Shooter Halo: Fireteam Raven Announced by 343 Industries

4.4
Today, 343 Industries has announced the next entry in the Halo franchise called Halo: Fireteam Raven.

This news comes from the official Halo Waypoint website, which provides all the essential details on the forthcoming title. According to the press release, Halo: Fireteam Raven is currently being co-developed by Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix.

Set in the same timeframe as the popular 2001 military shooter, players will step into the boots of a soldier who is a proud member of Fireteam Raven – an elite squadron of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (or ODST for short) with the goal of preventing the Covenant alliance from claiming the titular superweapon.

Like many arcade shooters, Halo: Fireteam Raven can be played solo or with a friend(s) via co-op. 343 Industries has also confirmed that the arcade cabinet will include a 130-inch 4K experience, as well as four turret-mounted, versatile machine guns. Meaning up to four players to head to the battlefield and kick some ass. Whether you’re slaying Covenant soldiers, destroying space crafts, or exterminating the parasitic lifeform the Flood, Halo: Fireteam Raven will offer everything great about the Halo series despite being an arcade experience.

Currently, Halo: Fireteam Raven does not have a release date, however, 343 Industries has stated that the game will be available sometime this summer exclusively at Dave and Buster. Never liked any of the Halo Wars games or little side games they tried to make before. I can't imagine I'll like this.
