Black Ops 4 doesn’t have a recharging health system

3.6
Instead of fixing all those bullet holes by avoiding damage for a short time, Black Ops 4 introduces an all-new, manual healing system.

In Black Ops 4, you instead have some kind of stim injector that you jab into your arm for a quick health recharge. From what we saw at the reveal, the animation is as nippy as you’d expect in a game about knee sliding while shooting people in the eyeballs.

Treyarch says this new system adds a refreshing layer of tactical considerations to combat.

Call of Duty is no longer just about who shoots first. Correctly choosing when to rush in or when to use a health stim will often be the difference between victory and defeat.

As well as the new healing mechanic, Black Ops 4 aims to make things more thoughtful with specific characters who specialise in different skills, from assault medics to heavy weapons experts who focus on area denial.

I honestly don't mind it's something different and for sure will bring in some nasty clips.

Maze As I said in the shoutbox, I can't wait to hipfire an LMG while putting on some bandaids.

They are trying too hard to come up with their own ideas and changing cod so much - that's not what the community wants lmao. Low low low expectations for this game.

Activision shouldn't even listen to the community anymore because the community is it's own circlejerk and don't know what THEY want. From Black Ops 1/MW3, people were complaining that the game is getting stale just being the same run and gun formula. People complained they wanted a little more realism in the game. CoD Ghosts came along with some minor environmental destruction, not so Killstreak heavy, believe the first CoD on console to introduce leaning and changed the way scopes on Snipers worked and everyone complained that Ghosts was trying to add in too much new stuff, while still complaining that it's the same run and gun boots on the ground as before. Advanced Warfare comes out with lasers, exo suits and all this other stuff and the community locks arms together within the first year, yet again saying CoD is trying to change too much and that they want boots on the ground. This continued all the way through Infinite Warfare. CoD4 Remastered comes out, everyone thought it was going to be the saving grace of CoD and back in full swing with the community. WW2 comes out, promising boots on the ground and surprise surprise, people were then again complaining that it's the same as before. Now onto BO4, the circlejerk within the community has again come, saying there is too many new ideas, when they also complain about it being the same as before for multiple titles -- namely "Bo3 remastered without the exo suits."

I don't even like CoD that much anymore simply because I have gotten bored with CoD after spending so much time on MW2, Black Ops 1 and MW3. The community doesn't know what they want, it's a circlejerk on more than 3 levels and I honestly don't believe Activison can ever win with the community. They could release an MW2 remastered, exactly like the community wants, with no supply drops and I am willing to bet a good portion would still find things to complain about and say how it's the same and all that stuff. The CoD community has turned into the old Sega/Sonic community when it comes to games where it pushes the developers away from wanting to listen to the community because the community as a whole doesn't even know what they want that is within reason.

It's nice to see something different, doing the same thing every single year is the exact reason why games die out... plus it will hopefully force the mole players out of their hole instead of sitting until health is regenerated.

I like the way they have re designed the health, although I can see people forgetting to heal themselves with it being manual.

If anyone's interested, here's a really good video of multiplayer gameplay that shows all with a good commentary https://youtu.be/t99NLa7k55M
