Twitch now lets you filter PUBG streams by the number of remaining players

4.3
Thanks to Twitch’s new stream filters, you’re now able to filter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds streams based on surviving players.

Twitch launched this new set of custom filters earlier, and they’re available to everyone watching PUBG streams.

The filters allow you to sort by team type (solo, duo, squad), and even by the number of remaining players in the round. You can choose from ‘More than 50′, ’25-50’, or fewer than 25 for the most hectic streams.

The filters work in a similar way to the language filters, and you’ll be able to see the results on the spot.

The new filters definitely sound cool, but they are not the first PUBG-related innovation from a streaming platform.

Late last year, Microsoft’s Mixer debuted the HypeZone channel, a channel that automatically features streamers in the top five-ten and keeps them on until they either win or die, then switches to a different streamer in a similar spot.

HypeZone essentially offers constant action, and it’s a bit of a cleaner solution to the issue of PUBG slow early-game. Hopefully Twitch can soon replicate or top that.

This is a pretty decent feature, always hated going into a stream just before it ends lol.
