While DICE has continued to make Battlefield games on an almost annual basis for a while now, the fan favorites in the entire franchise probably remain Battlefield Bad Company and Battlefield Bad Company 2. And now, it seems like the previously leaked Battlefield V, which allegedly goes back to World War 2, might in fact be… Battlefield Bad Company 3.

Okay, so a DICE LA employee Abbas Al-Rubaie actually tweeted this in as many words earlier today. We know he is a DICE employee because the official Battlefield account also follows him. Once the tweet started to gain traction, it was deleted, and his account was set to private (you can check a screenshot of the tweet for yourself below), which- now why would you do that unless you let something slip?

If this is Battlefield Bad Company 3, I am sure fans will be very happy- hopefully that’s what it ends up being when it is formally revealed.
