While Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky was quite divisive upon its release, many still actively enjoy it on PC and PS4 to this day after various updates. Today, the game’s developers revealed that a new free update, called No Man’s Sky Next, would be releasing later this year; furthermore, this update will come alongside and Xbox One release of the game, which is being made with the help of 505 Games.

The Xbox One version of the game, which will launch later this year, will have all of the content already present in the other versions of the game, including the No Man’s Sky Next update. This version of the game will also see a physical release, courtesy of 505 Games.

You can check out the trailer that unveils No Man’s Sky Next and the Xbox One version of the game below. No Man’s Sky is currently available on PC and PS4, and will make its way to Xbox One later in 2018.

Haven't played this game yet but by reading the comments I don't see myself downloading it on Xbox anytime soon. Will eventually try it out though.

Mike hve it for ps4 so no need of it!

Do you play it at all or do you not like it? I'm still wondering about buying it on Xbox one

I'm willing to give this a try if it continues to get better. Gonna watch some gameplay in the coming months to see if it's really worth it or not.

taghash Now two console families can be disappointed.

You should try the game in its current state and try to see if your comment holds up instead of living in the past :)

OT: The continued support and free content update years after launch is great. They could have just given up, but instead they keep supporting the game for free.

I hope the 10 month pause will finally bring us the multiplayer they've been working on.
