Activision Hosting Weekly Streams on Twitch Starting Today

4.8
If you’re a fan of Activision’s games and you want to see employees of the mega-publisher play them then you may be interested in this. Today, it was revealed that the company will be starting to stream on a weekly basis on Twitch, starting today with over an hour of Call of Duty: WWII.

While, of course, this allows the publisher to show off some of their most popular games, it was also confirmed that the Twitch channel will be used to host news announcements as well, much to the excitement of fans. The company also confirmed that the developers of the games they play will also make appearances from time to time, although the full streaming schedule has yet to be determined.

Activision revealed that while today marks the start of streaming schedule, they will be going live every Wednesday, meaning the next time they plan to go live will be March 28, 2018.

No surprise they are doing this, Activison fanbase is dead, they could do with getting on guests who have promoted there game significantly. i.e Scump and Nadeshot.

WarpSpark The real question is what is a cipher code on COD: IW

Couldn't agree with you more

Just trying to bring back more of the community to their games. Probably none of them will be good so you'll just be watching a regular player play COD.

This will be interesting to see. Many great things could come of this also.

I remember Bungie did this on Halo 3. If you beat them you got (flaming?) recon armor. They should do something like this, play with them/match them/beat them and you get a reward for the game you're playing. (Cosmetics, Titles, Calling Cards, etc)
Cool to see them working with the community, they normally aren't the best at the game.
