Dark Souls Remastered network test coming to PS4 and Xbox One

4.3
Bandai Namco announced today a network test will be held for Dark Souls Remastered on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

During the March 2018 Nintendo Direct earlier this month, it was announced a network test would be held for Dark Souls Remastered.

A date wasn’t provided, only that the test would be coming at a later date. So says the tweet below from Bandai Namco regarding platforms other than Switch.

Upon release, Dark Souls Remastered will support upscaled 4K resolution and 60fps, though only on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC. On Switch, the game will run at 1080p, 30fps when docked.

Excited to see whats to come with this remastered. The game was an outstanding success when it was released. More than likely, it will be again.

Can't wait for the OP Giant Dad builds to be back and to get destroyed in the forest again!

I'm excited to see what the game will look like. I hope they're going with the DS3 engine, making the game a lot more fast paced and not feel as sluggish as DS1 at times. Don't gget me wrong, DS1 is still a great game, but I prefer the gameplay of DS3.

Ninja What's a network test? As in a beta? Didn't even know it was confirmed. Gotta keep up.

Probably to see how badly their servers and networks strain with players connecting from around the world. So they know of they have enough grunt.

Better be soon, not long before the game is supposed to release
