Latest PUBG test patch adds emotes, bug fixes applied to Xbox One

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players on the test server can now show off their feelings in-game.

Emotes have been added to PlayerUnknown’s Battleground on PC with the update, along with a host of fixes and optimizations.

PUBG recently outlined its 2018 roadmap, which included the addition of emotes.

A video showing the new emotes is below, courtesy of RPS.

The roadmap also mentioned a new limb and vehicle penetration system set for this month. This feature will not be released as planned, but PUBG Corp said it will provide an update on the feature at a later time.

Along with the patch for PC players, a hotfix has been released for the Xbox One version

Bug fixes

  • Fixed issue where player revival would continue despite interruption
  • Fixed repeating sounds from footsteps or when reloading Kar98k, Revolver, or Shotgun
  • Fixed issue where (B) and (Y) buttons remained active in gameplay while in the map view
  • Fixed issue where the parachute cable would not disappear following a landing in water
  • Fixed issue where the player could not cut the parachute cable when becoming stuck during landing

 

Known Issues

  • Pressing the (B) button while in the Settings menu will cause the player to exit the plane

I always thought pubg was the more serious battle royale game but emotes don't seem right for this game.

should have spent their time trying to optimize the game more so it doesnt crash on xb1 or have building load in time when you drop

Why do they need to add this crap. Just improve the stability before adding cosmetic crap.

Ahhh, they fixed the ability to interrupt revive. I really liked that ability ;)

Some pretty neat emotes but more than likely, we'll be seeing some additions to the loot crate system with new emotes.
