Another Sea of Thieves server test starts this weekend

Another scale test will be held for Sea of Thieves this weekend.

This is the third scale test for Sea of Thieves. The second took place last weekend.

Once again, players will help the developers test the capabilities ahead of the game’s launch on March 20.

This weekend’s Sea of Thieves scale test is open to all Xbox Insiders on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.

It kick off tomorrow, March 2 at 2am PST, 5am EST, 10am BST and ends Sunday, March 4 at the same times.

To participate, just download the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store on Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC and follow these steps:

Launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
From the main landing page, select Insider content from menu to the left.
Under Games, select Sea of Thieves or Sea of Thieves Scale Test.
Select Join.
Wait to be redirected to the Store, then download and play Sea of Thieves.


Features will be similar to the closed beta and voyages will be limited to the Gold Hoarder trading company.

Craig Lets just hope that the server tests bring good results. And lets hope they can fix as many of the bugs as possible.


This game will be really fun and hopefully have 0 issues coming out. I'm personally excited on release.


0 issues part is skeptical as nothing has 0, but the fewer the better.

Tom Wow, wont even have to buy the game since there's so many test servers going out. Will have a full playthrough already before they even launch the game. Great to see the developers putting a lot of betas out though, making sure that the game comes out perfect with minimum to no bugs to fix. Great when developers put their community feedback and complaints first.


Lol, I've only seen 2 beta tests (not including this one) 2 beta tests is standard I believe. Personally, if all companies did it, we'd be a lot happier. Take infinite Warfare for example, they executed the game terribly, but they constantly updated:patched glitches as fast as possible. All it takes is a strong team, which SoT sounds like they have!

Oh shit, I completely forgot is coming to Xbox Pass lol, hell yeah, all over it now, no excuses I guess.
