Fortnite’s next weapon is the Hunting Rifle

The new weapon is next on the list after the Hand Cannon, and is expected “soon” according to in-game screens.

It might very well turn up this week with the arrival of Thursday’s update, which starts the second week of Season 3 Challenges.

The Hunting Rifle comes off the back of a new pack of outfits for those with Twitch Prime, featuring Sub Commander and Havoc gear, as well as a new glider.

Developer Epic Games has said that it could remove more weapons from Fortnite to make way for new ones, so be on the look out for balancing or nerfing of guns in the coming days.

The hunting rifle is the gun I never pick up. Rather just use a Deagle or a semi then use this gun.

Another SMG wouldn't hurt. I'm happy it's a rifle tho as well.


What do you mean another SMG? Haven't played FN in a couple of weeks. Surprised there's been no ARs been added. Last I heard they wanted to add a famas.


i mean the burst is already pretty deadly.


Don't doubt they'll add AR's soon.


They should do. Just don't make them op. Or just make them harder to find.

I hope they add skins that you have to earn. I would buy the battle pass if there was more achievements to make your player stand out. Or at least a reason to keep leveling up.
