Treyarch ran a double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC when First Strike was launched on Xbox LIVE last month. Now gamers are getting a second run to celebrate the release of the downloadable map pack to the Playstation Network.

Treyarch Community Manager Josh Olin announced the Double XP event via his twitter by saying, "#CODBlackOps #DoubleXP #ThisWeekend #AllPlatforms."

We can't recall an announcement being done in all hashtags before but we're cool with it anyways.

Typically, the Double XP will start sometime on Friday morning and run all the way through Monday morning. Good time to boost yourself up to Prestige if you haven't done so already.

Update: Olin followed up with the exact times. Double XP will start at 1 p.m. EST / 10 a.m. PST on Friday and end at approximately the same time on Monday.
