Fable Fortune is Leaving Early Access and Going Free-to-Play

4.5
Fable Fortune, a collectible card game based on the universe of Fable, hit Early Access on PC and Xbox Game Preview on Xbox One last year. Since then, the developers at Flaming Fowl Studios and Mediatonic have continued to tweak, balance, and add content to the game. Today, they announced that the game will be leaving Early Access on all platforms and go free to play as it update 1.0 hits on February 22.

That being said, content won’t be slowing down for the game anytime soon. This update comes with tons of stability and balance fixes alongside some new content that the developers promise to detail when the game officially launches. Those who have played that game throughout its time in Early Access are being noticed too, with a special Road-to-Release log-in event happening between now and launch.

Players who log in between 2pm GMT today and tomorrow will receive the Fancy Crazy Cat Lady card. On February 20, those who log in will receive a Fancy Restless Spirit card. Finally, logging in the day before release, February 21, will net players a Fancy Bloody Augur card and Fancy Card Pack. These are all strong cards, giving those who supported the game before launch access to better cards at release.

Fable Fortune is currently available in Early Access for $14.99 on PC and Xbox One, but will launch as a free-to-play title on those aforementioned platforms on February 22.

Epcot I may try it since it's free to play but I wouldn't of bought it otherwise.

There's games I see for free that I still wont download for how bad it is, this is one of them.

This is so true. There are games that are free and arent even worth the time for download for free because they are a bad ganes. Alot of free to play games are bad games that never would make it as a priced game. At least that is what I think.

This game is absolute garbage, only hurts the fable legacy. Trust me I played it...

I guess it's worth it since it's free. At least it's proven in the Early Access.

Imo I wouldn't even bother downloading. It just doesn't look good at all.

KyloCrux Free to play is the way to go with a game that won't sell lmao.

That is what alot of the free to play games are... Games that wouldnt sell but get alot of popularity from free to play... its sad to see someone put so much effort and have to go and put it out for free.
