Latest Steam update adds sorting and filtering options to the wishlist

4.6
Steam’s latest update has made changes to the Steam Wishlist.

The latest software update for Steam has added more sorting and filtering options to the Steam Wishlist.

Users will notice added information such as review scores, Early Access state, and add to cart buttons when the game is available for purchase.

One of the new ways to filter games on the Wishlist is by discount price. This is especially handy when you have 100 or more games on the list and you want to browse by whether a title is on sale.

Along with sorting by discount, users can also choose from various tiers of price, or filter to only see item price matching the Steam Wallet balance.

The Wishlist can also be sorted by tags or genres, so now Steam displays the top-ranked tags for each item on the list.

It’s easier to keep track of Early Access titles now as any game currently in development on the list will reflect whether it’s still in Early Access or has transitioned to a full release.
Unreleased games added to the Wishlist will now have a release date noted. Users can also use a filter option to hide unreleased games until available.

The combination of filters and sort-orders users pick will also automatically save and apply next time the Wishlist is accessed.

Finally, games with a single purchase option can now be added directly to the user’s cart from the Wishlist. However, games with alternative options such as a Deluxe Edition or Limited Edition will require the user to click through to the store page to find the right option.

It’s a rather handy update for those who like things organized a certain way. Log-in to Steam and play around with the new Wishlist features while you browse the various discounts available through the Steam Lunar New Year Sale.

Sladren Am I the only one that thinks the entire Steam menu needs to be revamped in general? Its so ugly and such a bad color is being used.

Im on your side dude, its been the same for awhile and personally it needs more organization and like you said, coloring correction.
