Call of duty Black Ops Update, Fixes Sniper Rifles

4.7
Today, Treyarch makes everything better. For "Call of Duty: Black Ops" fans anyway. A new title update arrived for the game today, in advance of the March 3 release of the First Strike map pack DLC, which came to Xbox 360 at the beginning of February. The list of fixes isn't long, but there is a number of substantial ones that you'll want to know about.

On the multiplayer side, the big change is an update to the matchmaking system, the feature which pairs you up with other, similarly skilled players in competitive matches. What's notable about this one is mention in the update notes of tunable settings, which means Treyarch will now be able to tweak the matchmaking without having to submit changes for a proper title update. There's also been some "additional sniper rifle tuning" on the multiplayer front.

The zombie mode gets a healthy dose of fixes as well, including the removal of an aggravating bug which updates the leaderboards after each match regardless of how it ranks against your overall performance. Leaderboards become somewhat less cool when record of your 50-round brawl with the walking dead is wiped out by the 5-round trainwreck that follows it. Treyarch also addressed a number of exploits, which means it's time for fans to get cracking on finding some new glitches to hide out in.

Keep reading for the full list of changes.

Update 7:

Matchmaking improvements to return higher quality results faster. This change includes settings that are tunable in the live environment, so tweaking may continue beyond initial release of this update.
The in-game store now hides DLC map packs that do not match the language of the player’s disc to decrease the possibility of users downloading the incorrect language version.
Calling in a Chopper Gunner immediately after getting shot down in a Gunship will no longer end the Chopper Gunner run prematurely. Required timing-specific button presses.
Split screen players are now able to change camera perspectives and cycle through players as a spectator.
Addressed an issue where the most recent match played in Zombies could overwrite the best match played on the leaderboard.
Improved Zombies lobbies to prevent players from erroneously receiving the error “Unable to join game session” under certain circumstances.
Addressed a number of community-discovered Zombies gameplay exploits.
Additional security feature updates.

Additional sniper rifle tuning.

I guess I'll give this game another try. I've been banned and reset over 8 or 9 times. So this will be my last try.

After all the time people complaining about the snipers now they finally decide to fix them...

I guess I'm gonna trow in my black ops disk again, after 3 months :P

none of the zombie fixes 3arc claimed to make worked, leaderboards, lunar lander, or host migration problem just played a game after update and all 3 issues are unchanged. Anyone else not surprised? LOL

Ugh. Another fail Treyarch. First of all, I'm depressed that Treyarch didn't update the "Migrating hosts" glitch when it would count to 10 and the host would get kicked from the game. And also, most of these aren't really changed. Way to be Treyarch, Way to be.

wouldve have been better if this was made earlier. but maybe more people will come back to black ops
