Alien Horror Game The Peterson Case Announced

4.5
A new horror game set after the Roswell Crash called The Peterson Case is coming to consoles and PC.

Developed by Quarter Circle Games, The Peterson Case is a first-person game that takes place in 1947, just after and nearby the infamous Roswell UFO incident. A family has gone missing near the crash site, and as an experienced detective, it’s up to you to figure out what’s gone wrong in a house that appears to be abandoned.

Quarter Circle Games released a new announcement trailer for the game that showed off some of The Peterson Case’s gameplay. The game covers its horror bases with twitching bodies, occult symbols, and some gnarled root-like entities that permeate the house that touch on just about everything a first-person horror game would hope to have.

While there’s no release date for the game just yet, Quarter Circle Games did confirm that The Peterson Case would be releasing for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC with a “coming soon” timeframe. A description of the horror game that was provided on Quarter Circle Games’ site also gave an idea of some of the game’s specifics.

“The Peterson Case is an exciting horror game which will keep you on the edge of your seat – Play as Detective Franklin Reinhardt as you explore a deserted house; unraveling the spine-tingling tale of what has happened to its missing residents.

“Set in 1947. In a location near the Roswell UFO incident. You will play as an experienced detective who has been called in to find information and clues about the mysteriously missing family. Franklin soon discovers that there is an unearthly presence within the house that is hot on his trail – but can he solve the crime before it is all too late?

“The Peterson Case strikes the perfect balance between atmospheric horror, suspenseful narrative, and engaging puzzles. Taking the player through a unique experience which is rare within the horror genre.”

The Peterson Case is Quarter Circle Games’ first game and has been in the works for quite some time after being greenlit on Steam. Screenshots from the game as well as more info on Quarter Circle Games can be seen through its site.

Potion Definitely has some PT vibes going on if you watched the trailer.

Didn't even know there was a trailer but after watching it, was nothing I was expecting. Totally thought it was going to be different and more scary

PT looks insanely scary. Wish I could've played that. Gotta watch this trailer. Not a Alien fantasy fan

Craig Bout time a new alien game came out, not what i was expecting though.

we did have Alien: Isolation come out not too long ago but i guess not many alien games have come out in the past 4 years. I was hoping for a trailer to see what kind of monsters / detective work we might be doing. For example if its going to be like L.A Noire stuff or just a story based game where you just follow a mission.

I probably won't get this game. I might not get it unless the gameplay is good.
