Fortnite update schedule revised, Valentine’s & Spring events delayed

An updated release schedule for Fortnite has been provided by Epic Games, which makes note of a week delay for version 2.5.0.

With the current issues Fortnite has experienced since the last big update, Epic Games has posted a revised release schedule for updates 2.5.0 through 3.1.0.

“Due to our internal concerns regarding the stability of our v.2.5.0 update, the Valentine’s and Spring it On events will be delayed a week,” said Epic. “That means we won’t be landing the dates stated in our State of Development v1.

“We will be extending the current storm event in the interim in our 2.4.X update next week. easonal Gold Reset will happen in v.2.5.0. We want you to be able to play the game and feel this is the best bet for getting a stable patch out to you.”

Fortnite 2.4.0. was released earlier today, after a delay was initially announced. You can look over the patch notes posted through the link.

Patch 2.5.0 – February 14
Valentine’s Event
Special Valentine’s questline – A Love Story, told the Fortnite way.
Valentine’s-themed Heroes
Cupid Crossbow
New reactive quest type

Patch 3.0.0 – February 21
Spring it on Event
Week 1 of the ‘Spring it On’ questline released
New Event Store items

Craig Just seems like the are jamming as much into this game before it dies. Like slow down a bit dayum.


I think they're taking on pretty much everything the community mentions rather than playing it smart. Anyway, they remove most stuff after a while anyway.

I've not bothered buying and kind of cosmetics, seen like a waste of money. Not even bothered with the battle pass.


I am not THAT bothered by it. It is just a really big waste of money if you ask me. You could be putting that money into something way better that could help you in life or just save it rather than waste it on a game you wont be on in a couple of years.....

there is a lot! havent even got one yet since im not looking to spend any money on this game but if we get to see some wild costumes on valetines day, i may have to buy one.

Silky Don't really see how a crossbow would fit in regarding damage seeing as snipers take a few shots to elim and so realisticly a crossbow will also be a few shots however with a slow reload time between each shot along with no scope (assuming there won't be otherwise it's just a sniper) it's going to be shit.
I don't think its a BR gun sounds like they're talking about campaign (Save The world)

im starting to get that issue even after Ive heard they just fixed it. seems like bullshit when a guy runs into your building and you can do anything.
