Kinect and RRoD is no coincidence, ZDNet implies

An editor from ZDnet has placed serious doubt that Kinect and RRoD on the Xbox 360 is a coincidence. He claims that the complaints about the Kinect RRoD issue keep flooding in and suggests that owners of an older Xbox 360 shouldn't connect a Kinect to it. That is unless they are willing to 'shell out the dough on a replacement console'.

josh585 i have a xenon motherboard xbox with a kinect running on it and a flashed drive and never had a single issue and it gets at least 4 hours of play everyday. this is a bunch of crap and if you can prove me wrong id love to see you try

WELL...TO BE HONEST...they said the new slims were Kinect ready...with no modifications they told us...but if you have a old console...they never said IT was Kinect ready lol...no wonder its breaking consoles....

Ive got a premium console (20 GB) and have had kinect since christmas, but still no RRoD thank god :)
