Three more Xbox 360 games come to Xbox One via Backward Compatibility

4
Following the addition of LEGO Indiana Jones 2 and Split/Second, Microsoft has added three more Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility catalog. Noted by Microsoft’s Major Nelson, The Darkness II, Spec Ops: The Line, and The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom are the titles joining the list today.

Although the discounts are not live yet, all three of these Xbox 360 games are 80% off this week as part of Xbox Live Deals with Gold. As always, we’re including all the details and download links below:

The Darkness II: $29.99 or $5.99 with Xbox Live Gold
The Darkness II is an intense first person shooter that puts you in the role of Jackie Estacado, don of a NY crime family and wielder of an ancient supernatural force of chaos known as The Darkness.

Spec Ops: The Line: $29.99 or $5.99 with Xbox Live Gold
It’s been 6 months since Dubai was wiped off the map by a cataclysmic sandstorm. Thousands of lives were lost, including those of American soldiers sent to evacuate the city. Today, the city lies buried under sand, the world’s most opulent ruin.

The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom: $9.99 or $1.99 with Xbox Live Gold
Swiping the mysterious Chronoberry Pie changed everything for our beloved Winterbottom… one bite made him more than an ordinary pie-grabbing humbug. That first taste changed him into something quite extraordinary, granting him the ability to break the rules of time. With these newfound time recording tricks up his cufflink, and with the help of his time clones, Winterbottom can now snatch pies with the greatest of ease. But on his journey to devour every pie, Winterbottom must mind the signs… the perils of being unstuck in time. Join Winterbottom on his award winning debut Misadventures as he chases pie through over 75 unique puzzles.

If you own digital copies, these titles should now automatically appear in the ready to download section on your Xbox One. In case you own physical copies, all you’ll need to do is insert the disc and let the Xbox One work its Backward Compatible magic.

Mikey These games dont really interest me a great deal.

every time they decide to release new games for backwards compatibility, they are always so disappointing and not worth the money to buy since they're always really old games that no one played.

They need to start adding big name games in my opinion.

BIG games, yeah, like MW2 and WAW now that would be very interesting.

Doubt its going to be bringing MW2 to BC, they'd rather remaster it with better graphics.

Spec ops would be the only game i could care about on this list.

Spec ops: The Line was an alright game back in the day but I wouldnt recommend getting it if you havent already. nothing special nor are the other 2 games.

I could see myself maybe trying Spec ops. The other games just look cheesy in my opinion.

Disappointment once again lol, MW2 needs to be on this list soon, I bet we never get mw2 because it's the game everyone wants the most.
