New Soulcalibur 6 trailer introduces Groh, the return of Nightmare

Soulcalibur 6 was one of the surprise announcements made just before the end of the year. We’re not even a full month into 2018 and and we’re already getting new character reveals.

In a new trailer, Namco showed a decent chunk of new Soulcalibur 6 gameplay that features the return of fan favourites Nightmare, Kilik, and Xianghua.

The trailer also introduces the first new character, called Groh, who’s a mercenary, or possibly and an android? Groh uses a long blade that can be split into two for dual-blade action. The new character looks to be one of the lighter ones, with fast moves, a bit comparable to Xianghua.

Nightmare is as chunky as ever, and it’s great to see his massive sword return. The trailer is long enough that we get a good look at all four characters, complete with their super moves and victory poses.

Cent The greatest series of fighting games is coming back and I cannot wait to get my hands on this. No doubt I will be getting the most expensive edition possible.


We havent seen a Soulcalibur in awhile and glad to see a return. One of the fighter games I use to play a lot back in the day. Wouldnt say I was the best at it but was great with the characters and concept of the games.

I got to get this game when I can. I remember playing it as a adolescent and the characters definitely ring a bell.

This has me so pumped. I absolutely LOVED soul calibur whenever I was younger. Return of the Nightmare? Hell yes.
