Judge dismisses all but one claim over PS3 OtherOS removal

A federal judge has dismissed all the claims brought against Sony for removing OtherOS for the PS3, except one. The claim that still remains is that Sony violated the Computer abuse act that makes it unlawful to make 'unauthorized' changes to hardware. Apparently, the judge has allowed the plantiffs to have another go and refile their claims in an amended manner. What a nice guy!

This neither helps nor works against Geohot, it just means Sony is being brought to court on similar charges as Geohot.

It won't weigh positively nor negatively on his case.

Because some people are confused, now, GeoHot, and Sony, are both in court for SEPARATE cases. I assume now that the "Hypervisor Bible" is out there, Graf_chokolo will also have a similar case.
