Could Youtube be coming to the Xbox360, PS3 and WII ?

YouTube has posted a job listing for a “Game Console Software Engineer,” which could be a hint of its plans to expand to game consoles in much the same way Hulu Plus and Netflix have. The position will help “build the next generation game-console-based TV experience with You Tube video content,” the listing reads, which really seems like a dead giveaway. Even more so, requirements include “deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and/or Nintendo Wii”. One thing of note is the posting lists the ability to “deliver a compelling lean back experience with monetization and e-commerce offerings (ie, pay-per-stream, ads)” which begs the question: will the service be free, or not? YouTube is currently available to stream on PS3 and Wii using YouTube XL.

i think youtube on xbox would make the consel 50X better an if the added the internet on xbox with out havin to modd it that would make the consel 1000X better

Doesn't Wii and Ps3 already have youtube with their internet browser?

But I can imagine 360 being spammed with massive advertisements while on youtube.

It really only needs to come to the xbox 360, because PS3 & Wii have web browsers that support YouTube which would really be " YouTube on PS3 & Wii ".
