Hackers expose flaws of PSN, are your credit card details safe?

4.4
According to various reports, a group of hackers have produced a report on PSN that claims it is severely lacking in security. The report allegedly goes as far as to claim that credit card details are transmitted directly over the medium in plain text on the medium. However, further analysis claims that there is no 'generalized' ability for hackers to steal credit card details from PSN, only those using custom firmwares.

It was on a Different website and it showed how your Credit Card was going to their servers and it looked like this:

creditCard.paymentMethodId=VISA&creditCard.holderName=Max&creditCard.cardNumber=45581234567812345678&creditCard.expireYear=2012&creditCard.expireMonth=2&creditCard.securityCode=214&creditCard.address.address1=example street%2024%20&creditCard.address.city=city1%20&creditCard.address.province=abc%20&creditCard.address.postalCode=12345%20

You can read that and thats really sad ( thats not a real card #) lol
