PewDiePie Posts Video Blasting Logan Paul for Suicide Forest Video

Earlier this morning we reported that PewDiePie had sent out a pretty scathing tweet mocking Logan Paul's judgment, after Paul uploaded a video to YouTube showing a dead body they found while roaming Japan's "suicide forest." The video received immediate and aggressive backlash across the board, and now PewDiePie has uploaded an entire video calling Paul out for being "distasteful" and "disrespectful." You can watch it above.

PewDiePie comes across as blatantly aggressive in his video, openly mocking Paul for his judgment, and making no mistake about the fact that he believes the video was uploaded as a stunt for pageviews and attention. Paul states that the video was released in order to raise awareness about suicide and suicide prevention, but PewDiePie thinks otherwise. "I know he's out for that daily grind, for views, but surely even Logan Paul has his limits."

He goes on. "I always knew that Logan Paul was a jackass, so I wasn't really surprised by the fact that once Logan Paul found a dead body, that he acted like a jackass... He went up to the body, filmed it literally up close... It's not the kind of stuff you'd see on YouTube; very disturbing; really disrespectful, zooming on the body, making weird jokes around it... Logan, he's a straight up sociopath."

Well, if PewDiePie was waiting for an opportunity to rile up more controversy and get back into the spotlight, we think he probably found his golden opportunity right here. He just published the video this morning, and it's already racked up almost half a million views at the time of writing. Paul for his part has issued multiple apologies, and who knows if PewDiePie's video will catch his attention. If it does, we're sure to get an interesting response.

I actually saw this video, and it is so tragic. I cannot believe someone would use this for attention, and entertainment. That is ridiculous.

cymbah People are very hypocritical. How do you talk trash about someone but at the same time saying we need to help people that want to commit suicide? Wouldnt trash talking someone make them commit suicide? So if he kills himself what happens then? "oh he was a good guy" "Oh we need to get the people that talked him into suicide" The cycle will just continue. He knows what he did was wrong and we dont need pewdiepie to make videos for the clout and money on his YT just like the N word using he did. People fail to realize he got away with using the N and still made money from the apology video.


There's a difference between making fun of and trash talking. PewDiePie's video made fun of the matter and then talked out what a better situation would've been. Besides, it's not like Logan hasn't trash talked anyone before. Also if you're mad about PewDiePie making a video on the subject, you should know there are far worse videos out there that have been made, and those videos actually try to make money off the news and will straight up throw insults out at Logan.

Logan AND Jake got away with worse, far worse, and their majority child fan base seems to be all for it.

Sorry to say, but you are the one coming off as a hypocrite right now man. How can you defend someone who blatantly does stuff wrong KNOWINGLY for "clout", "money", and laughs to a guy who accidentally said the n word without any racial intentions.

Dude literally stopped and thought, "hey, it would be dope to record a 'Suicide' in Suicide Forest!"

And hes going to keep doing what he wants bc hes himself and no one can do anything about that. You guys gave him this attention and hes going to turn it into money and hes going to do something else and get the attention and turn it into money. just boycott his vids and unfollow him on everything that will make a difference
