First Details About Call of Duty: WWII’s The Resistance DLC Announced

4.1
If you’re a fan of Call of Duty: WWII like I am, then you’ve probably been eagerly anticipating more details about the game’s first DLC pack called The Resistance, which was announced earlier this year during Paris Game’s Week. Normally information about each map pack comes 30 days before its release, but it seems like Sledgehammer Games is breaking that tradition, as today the developer officially revealed the pack’s first details.

As previously revealed, the pack is set to include three new standard multiplayer maps, one new War mode map, and one new Nazi Zombies map. First off we have Anthropod, which takes place in Czechoslovakia, and features a fairly normal three-lane design, with buildings looking down on the center lane. Next up is Valkyrie, which is a medium sized map that takes place at one of Hitler’s headquarters. The final standard map is Occupation, which is a remake of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 map Resistance.

The War mode map included with the DLC is called Operation: Intercept, and takes place in an urban city outside of France. Players will have to free French Resistance Fighters, take out communication equipment, and completely stop a moving train in order to win.

Finally, we have The Darkest Shore, the Nazi Zombies map, and the final part of the DLC. The map takes place days after the end of the original map, The Final Reich, and, as the name suggests, is set on a beach.

You can check out some artwork from the DLC, as well as a video preview from Sledgehammer Games, at the end of the article.

Call of Duty: WWII was originally released on November 3, 2017, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The Resistance Map Pack is set to hit the former on January 30, 2018, while the latter two will have to wait another month.

S7 they need to start getting back to the old ways of zombies in my opinion not like 15 steps for pack a punch

I would agree with you but it's pretty easy to perform the steps for pack a punch and you can unlock it fairly early on. If it was a strenuous task then maybe.

Hopefully the next zombie map is worth the wait, the first map is getting pretty old.
