This week, Crystal Dynamics, Nixxes Software, and Square Enix has launched a new DLC expansion for Rise of the Tomb Raider, and to celebrate the new add-on, Valve is offering the 2015 action-adventure title on Steam for 50% off its current purchase price.

According to Steam news page, now until Friday, December 8, 10 am PST/1 pm EST Rise of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is on sale for $14.99 and $29.99 respectively. Set one year after the events of the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot, players once again control archeologist Laura Croft as she heads to Siberia to search for the mythical city of Kitezh while fending off “the Trinity,” a paramilitary organization hellbent on beating her to the town.

For those who purchase the 20 Year Celebration, in addition to receiving the base game, the bundle also comes with the Season Pass, which contains all the post-launch content released for the title. This includes the latest expansion Blood Ties, as well as Lara’s Nightmare, a horde mode where Lara will face off against waves of undead corpses while trying to protect the Croft Manor.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Additionally, the Blood Ties DLC also includes VR support for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.
