100,000 Accounts were banned from PUBG last weekend

4.3
The great success that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has enjoyed also comes with a few drawbacks. One of the biggest issues that has plagued the game is the prevalence of cheating. To address these issues, Bluehole has been trying to implement anti-cheating measures to get rid of these players. The anti-cheat software that the game uses is called BattleEye and it has banned more than 100,000 accounts over the course of the weekend.

The developers had stated last week in a Tweet that they were working on implementing new anti-cheat measures and this was presumably the reason why the vaulting feature didn’t arrive when expected. This brings the total number of banned accounts to 700,000. Anyway, it’s nice to see the developers hard at work to ensure a fair gameplay environment for all players. Hopefully, this will help to reduce the prevalence of cheating in the game.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is set to release in Early Access for the Xbox One on December 12th and the game will also be enhanced for the Xbox One X. The PC version is also set to leave Early Access by late December.

BattleEye is such a trash anti cheat, so easy to make a good bypass for.

That's a lot of accounts if you think about it, damn.

Thats why i cant wait for the xbox one release. No modding on there.

And yet its the tip of the iceberg. The test servers still had people using cheats> its good to see so many are being found, but its a long way from getting them all.

Eternity It's amazing how many people they can ban in such a short timeframe. And just think, these players are banned but they likely don't get refunds afterwards. That's a lot of "wasted" money if you ask me

Its not wasted money, its money for the PUBG Developers to keep making the game better. I'm not against Modding/Cheaters, but on a game like PUBG it just ruins the whole game and the whole point of the game, (Too Win That Chicken Dinner) and if someone is hacking that chicken dinner. That's not cool...

@OwensRGH
Nice man! Congrats at being part of ruining PUBG. Why cheat on a game like PUBG. Go cheat on a game like sims or somthing... LOL

It just blows me away. I can't believe that many people cheat, it totally ruins the game and makes it impossible to have fun... hopefully they can fix this issue
