Nintendo Switch projector has already hit its crowdfunding goal

As it turns out, fans really, really want to see their Nintendo Switch games on a big screen. The first crowdfunding attempt to create a projector for the system has just hit Indiegogo, and it’s already exceeded its goal by 151 percent.

The OJO Projector is a device made by Hong Kong-based YesOJO Studio, and it effectively serves as a different kind of dock for the Nintendo Switch. Unlike the standard dock, however, this one has a projector built in. Instead of sending game audio and visuals through a HDMI cable to a TV, the OJO Projector lets you shine your games onto any suitable nearby wall and plays audio through built-in speakers. The projector also has an HDMI port and two USB 3.0 ports, letting it serve as a standalone projector for other devices.

esOJO originally asked for $30,000 to fund the projector, but that goal has already been wildly exceeded. At the time of writing, the projector’s Indiegogo campaign has raised $45,274, and it still has a month to go.

If you’re interested in the OJO Projector and you’re quick enough, you may be able to get the projector for a discount. The first 200 backers will be able to buy the projector for $270, and the 500 backers after that can snag it for $300. The suggested retail price after that will be $370.

Other backer rewards include an adapter and a travel bag to help make the OJO Projector a little more portable.

The Indiegogo campaign for the OJO Projector can be found here. The projector is expected to ship out this December.
