Graphics Comparison Xbox One X vs PS4 Pro

4.3
With the Xbox One X just a little over a couple weeks away from worldwide launch, you’re probably going to see a lot more of these in the near future- but here’s one just to kick things off anyway. Digital Foundry have posted a graphics comparison video between the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro, and the results are about what you’d expect them to be.

The video shows the recently released Middle-Earth: Shadow of War running on both the systems, comparing everything from resolution to frame rates. The Xbox One X version of Middle-Earth: Shadow of War looks significantly better than the PS4 Pro version, predictably enough, thanks to its much powerful hardware.

The textures on the Xbox One X definitely look crisper and sharper, while the PS4 Pro version looks a little more washed out. The gap isn’t too large, of course, and it’s not like the One X version looks vastly better than PS4 Pro version, but there’s still a gap- enough to be noticeable, at least.

Man, gutted I didn't get the money in time to pre-order mine, I guess it'll be next year.

xbox has always been my favorite console, but lots of people are swapping to ps4 but seeing this i might reconsider.

Urf "Running native at 1620p" and then half a minute later says "Running at 4K"

So you're running a 1620p game at 4K? Yeah, that's real good /s

It is dynamic resolution so the game will change its resolution to meet the 60 FPS mark in certain areas.
