343 Industries has announced Halo 5: Guardians‘ Overtime update, which will bring with it “a host of tweaks, adjustments and other goodies all designed to improve overall player experience.”

Kicking things off is the return of Oddball, bringing with it a full suite of mode-specific medals, new VO, and a return of the ballyhooed and beloved skull as “the ball.”

As well as this, a Local Sever app will be released for the game that allows players to host a local server on a Windows 10 PC connected to the same network as Xbox One consoles for Halo 5 multiplayer matches.

On top of the content above, 343 Industries is also releasing a weapon tuning update in November that will take into account feedback from the recently held public test. More information about the test can be found here.

The final item is a 4K update for the game on Xbox One X that will take advantage of the extra power of the console to deliver “higher visual fidelity for players who have compatible hardware.”

In other Halo news, an Xbox One X upgrade is also in the works for Halo: The Master Chief Collection along with a number of bug fixes and improvements for the collection.
