PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is reaching all kinds of milestones as of late. Not only has it topped 15 million sales and 2 million concurrent players on Steam, but it’s also banning cheaters at a lightning-fast pace.

This is according to a handful of recent tweets from BattlEye, the third-party anti-cheat client that handles Battlegrounds‘ ban-hammer. According to BattlEye, over 322,000 players have been banned from Battlegrounds for cheating, with a current rate of between 6,000 and 13,000 bans per day. Most recently, BattlEye banned over 20,000 cheaters on October 12th alone.

If you couldn’t tell, this is a staggering amount of players to be banned from one game, let alone in such a short period of time and with such regularity. The “vast majority” of players banned, according to BattlEye, are based in China, which makes sense considering the lengths that Chinese players go to to find adequate servers and the amount of issues that this has caused.

Battlegrounds isn’t the only game that BattlEye monitors. Back in August 2016, Rainbow Six Siege started using BattlEye to protect against cheaters and ended up banning 3,800 within its first week of application.

Thankfully, when Battlegrounds comes to Xbox One sometime in late 2017, these kinds of anti-cheating measures will not be necessary.
