With the open beta ongoing for the upcoming Call of Duty World War II title, many players are getting the opportunity to see up close and personal how the franchise is returning to its "roots". But with multiplayer, comes hackers it seems as the cheaters of the gaming world swarm the open maps during the available testing periods.

Reddit immediately took to the issue with hundreds of players calling out the hackers, while wondering how it became such a big issue in such a short amount of time. In this cause, it isn't a matter of "Git Gud," it's legitimately very obviously utilised aimbots that let cheaters take perfect aim, no matter what cover is in the way. The perfect shot, every time - even from a few stories down. This is great if you're the one using the hack, but it's a very blatant move that is instantly recognizable.

It's unclear what Sledgehammer plans to do with the latest title. Perhaps they will implemented a steady report system, like previous titles had, or will create something new altogether.

The game is still in its beta period, with its full launch not dropping until November, so this could provide the team behind the upcoming Call of Duty the necessary data to correct this issue (at least as well as they can) before the full title becomes available. They have until November 3rd to look at the cheating dynamic and figure out the best way to handle it.

In other Call of Duty World War II news, one beta player was able to find out about the new Uplink system, as well as the maps available at launch, via a bugged map. He didn't hack it, but he was at the right place at the right time. He even took screenshots, seen here, for people to see what's new, and what's coming back, to the world of CoD WWII.

Call of Duty World War II will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 3rd.
