Destiny 2 servers being taken offline for maintenance next week

Bungie has announced plans to take the Destiny 2 servers offline next week for maintenance.

On Tuesday, October 3rd, at 8 a.m. PDT players will no longer be able to sign into the game, with all players being kicked off the servers at 9 a.m. PDT. The maintenance will conclude at 12 p.m. PDT, but Bungie warns that it may last longer and that players may encounter the Destiny Server Queue when attempting to sign in after the maintenance.

As well as performing maintenance on the servers, Bungie will also push live a new hotfix that fixes a number of bugs. Take a look at the full patch notes here.

The developer also mentioned that it is still working with Sony to try and addressing the crashing issues on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Destiny 2 is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a PC release to follow on October 24th.

lol it can't be dead if its dominating the charts. Destiny hasn't really ever been my thing but from what i'm noticing is a lot of people seem to want / have this game


Just my opinion - find it boring and repetitive af.

Maintenance is always a good thing. Can have its pros and cons.

A lot of games tend to bring there servers down for maintenance every once in a while.
