Players eager to get their hands on the upcoming fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite have been given several pre-launch teases, including official character trailers, variant Marvel comic covers, and plenty of leaks. With the latest leak of news supposedly revealing the full roster of the game’s first wave of DLC characters, Capcom has stepped forward to give the official word and throw us all for a loop.

In a statement (via Eurogamer), the developer confirmed the final four unannounced characters will be Monster Hunter, Winter Soldier, Venom, and Black Widow. These additional fighters join previously announced DLC characters Sigma and Black Panther, with all six slated to launch sometime before the end of the year. Detailed information on the newly announced characters’ playstyles were not given, but it was revealed the Monster Hunter character is a lady Monster Hunter.

Coming after the game’s trophies and final boss form news, the latest lengthy but questionable leak from Reddit was correct about five of the characters, except for Black Widow. The post stated Street Fighter III‘s final boss, Gill, would be the final slot for DLC, but this seems to have not been true. However, the news isn’t entirely shocking, because the poster didn’t provide any sources or concrete evidence for their findings.

While it doesn’t make up for the lack of X-Men fighters, players have been upset over the lack of some high-profile Marvel characters in general, making Black Widow a solid choice. In a different form of DLC, those hoping for alternate looks within the roster can pre-order the game to get access to four extra costumes: Command Mission X, Gladiator Hulk, Warrior Thor, and Evil Ryu.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 19th.
