Destiny 2 continues to find success after its release by topping the UK’s best-selling charts for the second week in the row.

After soaring to the top of the charts during its first week on the market – a result that was anticipated – the second week of dominance is made even more impressive when considering the other games that Destiny 2 faced off against for the No. 1 spot. With new releases like NBA 2K18, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, the competition wasn’t light by any means, but Destiny 2 still pulled ahead of the others.

The games mentioned above all found their way onto the charts behind Destiny 2, though, even if they didn’t take first place. NBA 2K18 followed close behind as the second-best game with Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 following the basketball game, but Dishonored: Death of the Outsider trailed a bit further at the No. 5 spot behind Fallout 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.

Since the launch of the Bungie game last week, the game has dominated both on sales charts and on players’ consoles with over 1.2 million gamers already active on the sequel. From raid guides to loot to controversial armor, Destiny 2 is just about everywhere that a gamer could look at the moment. With the releases staggered so that it’s already out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One before a PC release in October, Destiny 2 might just find itself hanging out around the top of the charts in coming weeks as well, perhaps even staying in first place.
