A new game has dethroned PUBG as Steam’s top seller

One game has finally usurped PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds from its spot at the top of Steam’s top sellers list.

Divinity: Original Sin II was bound to have a strong launch, what with how well-received the first game was. What’s surprising, though, is that the game actually rose to the top of the chart right before the game actually went live—there were just that many people playing the Early Access version.

One of the game’s designers captured the moment in a screenshot.


Divinity: Original Sin II is off to a strong start on PC. While the first game in the series got a console release at a later date, there’s no word yet as to whether Divinity: Original Sin II will ever arrive on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or other consoles.

Yeah must be wrong as the majority have never even heard of it.

Potion Top Sellers in completely inaccurate. It simply lists games that have sold a lot of copies in the past X amount of hours. Bad Rats makes it there frequently during the holiday sales.


Seemed pretty weird that it was on top.. I hadn't even heard of it lol.

Like Potion said this isn't accurate, give it a few hours and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will be back on top.
