Okay, so let’s say you still haven’t gotten into Blizzard’s Overwatch yet. Maybe you’ve got a heavy game stack that you’re still trying to get through, or it’s still not in your price range yet. Not to worry, as you’ll be able to play it on the house with another forthcoming free-to-play weekend!

Blizzard has confirmed that the game will be free all weekend long on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, starting on September 22nd at 11:00 AM PDT, and running through September 25th at 11:59 PM PDT. That’s over three days worth of fragging action that you can take on with your friends.

That said, there are some catches when it comes to the console versions of the game. If you’re playing on PlayStation 4, you will need a PlayStation Plus subscription; meanwhile, if you’re downloading it on Xbox One, you’ll need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. As for PC, you’ll need to activate a Battle.net account, but that’s free, so it’s no biggie.

The free weekend will give you access to the full roster of heroes (25 in all), along with 16 maps and a number of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, the Arcade and Loot Boxes. And anything you do in the game, be it leveling up or customizing your character, will automatically be unlocked if you buy the game for the same platform following the free weekend trial.
