See which games climbed to the top of the PlayStation Store in August

The month of August brought a lot of games to the North American PlayStation Store, and now the numbers are out to show which ones have risen to the top.

According to the most recent rankings released by the PlayStation Blog, Madden NFL 18 was the best-selling game on the PlayStation 4 last month, closely followed by Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and Sonic Mania. The rest of the top 20 chart is filled with other fairly recent releases, including Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and Lawbreakers, as well as long-standing popular games like Grand Theft Auto V and Rocket League.

Undertale topped the list of PS Vita games and also earned the number eight spot on the PlayStation 4 list, proving that the popular indie game has found a second solid following on Sony’s consoles. In the VR world, Superhot VR became the best-selling PSVR game of the month.

Wake It always surprises me that GTA V has stayed such a consistent seller for years without much of a price drop, goes to show how popular that game is.


It's actually insane, the game is still so popular and i dunno how or why.


Seems to hold its money aswell.. Never seen any other game like it.

Musket I'm surprised that madden 18 is the top seller, thought a lot of people didn't enjoy sport games


Oh they do Madden, FIFA, and 2k are the popular ones but just like every year they eventually die out in a few months.
