Minecraft Marketplace creators have earned over $1 million since June

4.4
This past June, Microsoft introduced the Minecraft Marketplace–a program which enables Minecraft community members to earn a living by releasing in-game content alongside our own first-party content in the Minecraft Store. Since then, our community partners have earned more than $1 million collectively by selling their own adventures, worlds, texture packs, character skins, and more!

Minecraft has some amazing Marketplace partners, and they’re continually bringing new people on board. Microsoft started the program with 9 individuals back in June, and since then have expanded the partner roster to 12, with plans to keep adding more partners. The program offers our players a wide variety of community-created content that they can safely and easily access, while also allowing the community to support one another’s work and allow creators the chance to turn their creativity into a way to make a living!

Echo That's a nice amount tbh. Not too much and not to little considering it's not their actual job. Is it worth the time though put into some of the worlds and textures ??

It helps generate revenue back from the game they need to at least make something from the 2.5 Billion they spent on it lol.

Would be sick if you were one of the marketplace creators, lucky few.

Travis Honestly that's pretty low.

Not really considering this would be just a hobby for somebody and not a full time job, could get quite a decent amount of money on the side.

C4 I actually read an article not long ago that was talking about people making maps for servers then charging people for them and then Minecraft shut most of them down and only allowed 1 team to make maps for the whole community. Kind of sucks for the ones that got pushed away,

I agree the whole server sided thing they have going on in the bedrock edition is a joke... Most of the servers have to be verified by them themselves before even adding to the game ect.... why can't it be like classic PC where everyone gets to make a server if they want to all seems to be about Microstansactions for them.. even when they changed the EULA (terms) everyone got so angry and then notch sold it to microsoft and all they have done since is add a way to make themeselves money and remove a way for smaller players that own servers not to.
